Photomath

Photomath is a mobile application designed to help users learn math. Using smartphone cameras and optical character recognition (OCR) built by its Zagreb engineering team, the app scans equations to instantly provide step-by-step solutions and explanations. The platform was acquired by Google in 2023.

Founded and developed in Croatia, the app scaled globally before its acquisition by Google.
